GENERIC CONTEST

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. No purchase necessary.
2. Contests are open to all residents of British Columbia & Washington except employees of the sponsor(s) and its/ their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families.
3. Winner may only win once in any 90 day period.
4. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable.
5. The sponsor(s) of the contest will conduct communication only with the selected contestants and grand prize winners with no exceptions.
6. Only one (1) prize will be awarded per household per address. The decision of the contest judges is final. In the event that an entrant is not eligible, or cannot be contacted after diligent efforts by KVOS Television, KVOS Television will have the right to re-draw another entrant as a Prize Winner and KVOS Television shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard. By entering, the entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these rules.
7. All entries become the property of KVOS Television who assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries.
8. If a contest is administered all or in part over the internet, KVOS Television is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable miscommunications, failed servers, interrupted telephone or computer transmissions, technical failure, jumbled or scrambled transmissions of any kind whether human, mechanical or technical.
9. Persons found tampering with any aspect of a promotion or contests are subject to immediate disqualification.
10. Contests are subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws. Void where prohibited.
11. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules and consents to the use of their name, city of residence and /or photograph, without compensation, in any advertising or publicity carried out by the sponsor(s).
12. The sponsor(s) accept no liability or responsibility in connection with injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of any contest or the prizes awarded.
13. KVOS Television reserves the right to terminate or withdraw any contest at any time and/or to substitute the grand prize in whole or in part.
14. KVOS Television holds the right to amend contest rules or change contest rules at any time without prior notice.
15. All qualifying prizes must be claimed within 60 days at the offices of KVOS Television. After 60 days, prize becomes the property of KVOS Television and KVOS Television shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard.

Valid identification must be shown when claiming a prize. Should the prize winner be unavailable to claim their prize during regular office hours, consent can be given for a friend or family member to claim the prize on the prize winner’s behalf. The prize winner must sign and return (via fax) a consent form to the KVOS Television offices. The consent form must include a photocopy of the prize winner’s identification. Prize winners may utilize a courier to receive their prize, but only pre-paid couriers will be accepted.
17. Event Cancellations - if you are the winner of tickets to a concert, movie screening or another ticketed event from KVOS Television that gets cancelled, we unfortunately can not give out replacement tickets to another concert or event. Cancellations are completely out of the control of KVOS Television.
